Welcome to the Motte Historical Museum. Once a produce market from the mid 1980s to the late 1990s, it is now a museum housing the Motte Family car collection and the History of the Valley.

At the Motte Historical Museum, you are able to
dream up your big day and make it happen!
The Museum provides an indoor event experience like none other. The unique building with its Museum decor will provide a memorable entertainment opportunity for your special guests.
We provide the venue, and you are then able to bring in your favorite caterer, drinks and decor! All vendors must be pre-approved by the Museum staff, however, there are no limits as to what you want to serve! This is the place to come and be creative!
The Motte Historical Museum is a non-profit, tax exempt charitable corporation under the Internal Revenue code 501(c)(3).
The Museum is a Family Car Collection owned and operated by the Motte Family providing a historical account of the cars and the surrounding history of the valley.

We are located just 20 minutes from Temecula wine country, and 20 minutes from the citrus groves in Riverside, CA.
Highway 74 is off the 215 freeway on your way to the city of Hemet.
Take Highway 74 east, and soon you will come across the “Motte Country Plaza” which is where we are located, right before Palomar Road.
